My thought : It was seriously not a problem then
but it became a problem now because of
irrational insecurities among the Malaysians.
Just let the Christians use the term "Allah".
They are not wrong somehow.
Allah s.w.t is God for all.
Allah is not yours nor mine.
Allah is the Almighty for ALL.

However dear Christians, Allah is one. There is no one other than Allah.
Please don't misuse the term if you're using it.
Let the definition remain. Don't change it.
