And the one on Wishes
We hanged out.
It was cool.
We have been this tight ever since we were born.
Nothing could change that.
Like cereally.

P.S. Wishes, dream a dream.
Nice big open mouth beside my face

And the one on Happy Thursday
It all started bad.
I woke up at 3 as usual

and I did chemistry for 1 hour
and then I did Math - SRJC Paper 2.
It started off well but then there was this question
that made me screamed ARRGH!

So I was already not in a good mood.
Furthermore it was raining. Sentimental.

That means I had to climb all the way up to the fourth level
first thing in the morning.
Already, I'm partially wet.

But it all started to turn for the better.
My Math teacher was on leave.

So that means CELEBRATION TIME.
=)

So school's over.

Planned to go to Causeway Point for
last minute gift shopping.
Zazu saw the bazaar set up and urged us to see the food available.

Then,
I saw my aunt and cousin.
That just meant HURRAH!
Free goods and services. Haha.
Got ~$7.00 worth of food, no charge.

Nevada then decided to treat me for lunch.
So what you think that means?
JOY! What else.
Cool. Cereally

And obviously the whole 3 hours spent
was filled with laughter.
The one who had a crush with M. Chua and I
bought a card for our dear Chemistry teacher.

Then stupid things were said.
You know the flower band you could put on your hand.
Oh yes, the theme for Prom Nite is Flowers.

I know, such a cliche.

Back to the flower thing,
It has the letters C, R, T, E

I started with,
crate
crater
chromium
carrot
cranberry
contour
cornelius
crow bar
and my favourite CRuan tanamela.
HAHAHAHA.
It was like a game of guessing the word.

CRuan Tanamela
(Kepala Hotak Kau Lah)

Ok so that's it.
I'm going off.
Dainty queen is in my room.
I'm hanging out.
See ya.

P.S: I would not ask if you do not tell.
Plus, Nevada, thanks for sneezing

And the one about Global Problems
Price of oil increase.
Food crisis intensify.
Environmental issues add up.

Hold it right there.Where is the world going to?

We are facing tremendous temperature increase
due to increasing global green house gas emissions.
In other words, global warming.

We are then encouraged to reduce these excess emissions
by going 'green'.
We are asked to board on public transport
We are told to substitute our petrol and diesel to biofuel
We concur to the fact the world is getting ever more ill by the day
so we do these things.

But there are other reasons why we do such things.
Oil prices go up up and away.
It continues to escalate.

Anyway, biofuel has caused the rise in food prices.
In actual fact, 30% increase.
That is A LOT.
Demand increase, so, supply increase
Amount of biofuels increase.

Wait a minute,
this means that the farmers providing these biofuels
have to expand their land.

How can this be done? Deforestation of course.
Forests are carbon sinks.

The number of carbon sinks are inversely proportional
to the conditions of global warming.
The lesser the sinks, the worse global warming gets.

Then, what about food?
If more biofuels are produced,
and land are expanded for it,
Where are food produced?

This is a little bit too much.

You want to save the world
but you end up killing it anyway.

P.S.: Long entry, I know.

Jugshatu 8/27/2008 11:42:00 AM

And the one on Poverty
I was doing research on poverty for my General Paper.

And obviously we know about poverty in the world.
But do we actually realise the poverty levels in Singapore?
I think it is so well hidden.

But remembering friends I had back in the old times,
I know it exists.

I found out that 12.6% of Singaporean families
have income lesser than $1000 a month.

This means they cannot provide their children with quality education.

40% of these family are headed by a single parent
usually mothers.

Where did their fathers go?
They either leave or are in rehab or behind bars.

This is obviously my idea of a joke. Haha
By the way, his head got stuck. Like cereally

On average, kids in Singapore get at least 2 years
of pre-school education.

The rich get 4 yrs of nursery
and God knows how many years of Montessori Kindergarten.
(obviously, it's 2 years)

Destitute kids do not even receive any pre- school education

I may brag longer
but doesn't it make you realise that we are so lucky?

Even if we are relatively poor,
there are people who lives in pure indigence.

Be thankful.
The rice we take for granted
are considered gold to some.

Don't cry too much on taxes okay?
Some of it does go to the needy.

P.S. My cousin is not behind bars neither is he in a state of destitute.
He is a free man (boy)

And the one on Peculiar Thrills
Have you ever felt a thrill rush
on something you know is not worth being thrilled about?

Well, it constantly happens to me.

But the real deal is about being thrilled
about things worth being excited
that leaves strange tingles all over you.

(Or so I think)

Once, Zazu and I received 7 free movie tics
to watch the mummy.
(2 were complimentary)
[Only 6 are in the pic]
That gave me the tingles of excitement
all over.

When I was in Melaka,
I was given the chance to drive
a go-kart (or goi-kart as Lalat says it)
This is when you do stuff you
don't normally do on the road.

Then there was the time
when my nephew was so amused and
charmed by his uncles
and decided to be like them. Plain Cute.
I went : "Get the camera!"
He went a little bit extra with the shades

I think these things are worth having tingles.

What do you think?Am I being weird?
(Well, as the title goes : Peculiar Thrills.)

Oh well.

P.S. I am facing my GP paper tomorrow.
Wish me the best.

And I wish the best to those who are taking it tmr too.

:)

Muggers united.

And the one on Absence & Presence

I went to see the doctor.

Found out that I'm down with a fever.
With cough and back strains. I have 2 days of leave from school.

Enough about me being ill.

Being mad at my family made me realise
that I always have another family to turn to.

I went to my cousin's place
and the whole family willingly provided a listening ear.

Wow. I'm lucky. Thanks you guys.

It made me feel much better.

At the kenduri, they cheered me up further
and stayed with me in the kitchen.

I feel grateful.

Although, I still think that the after effects
of the argument I had was the ultimate cause of my illness.

Now I talk less.
That is something unusual.
What do you people think?

Well, regardless of what happened,
I still love my life.

And I'm obliged to say that I love you people.

You know why,
because i really do.

P.S. Lalat, I'll try to make time alright?
and thanks for yesterday

Jugshatu 8/25/2008 06:19:00 PM

And the one on Being Selfish
I could have at least told someone about not coming to school
But what did I do?

Just sit on the bed

and suddenly be lulled to sleep again.

No one knows what happened to me.

Well, I didn't tell them.

It doesn't matter.

I am seeing the doctor in a while.

How am I feeling now?

Pretty illustrative. I love these pictures I put up.
They express my emotions quite surreally.
Cereally. (No, I'm hungry)

Well, I'm off to the clinic.

P.S. I feel so bad not contacting anyone.
Sorry if you called or texted but I didn't reply.

Jugshatu 8/25/2008 09:57:00 AM

And the one on The Left Side
Have you ever felt that the world is unfair?

That Justice seems to never take your side?

Like you are always on the left side of the fence?
Which means you can never be RIGHT?
(I see a flaw in this statement. Do you realise it? Tell me what you think the flaw is)

I'm feeling it.
Is it great?
NO!

But I am proud of myself.

I left home without saying a word.
I came home without speaking to anyone.

I just Chillax.
Like cereally.

How I'm feeling right now,
Check this out -->

So, does it best illustrate how I'm feeling?

I'm feeling weak. Lethargic.
And I am so feeling like skipping school today.

P.S. It is my 4th finger. Not the middle one. Cereally

And the one on Spit

You know, when someone laughs

they accidentally spit out their saliva .

It may be a lot, it may be little

and some of it will somehow land on your face.

But have you EVER got spit
intentionally by someone
who just accidentally spit on you before.

Well.
It just happened to me.
I'm not mad. Just shocked. :P

To the person that had spit on my face both accidentally and intentionally,
I mean no harm.
Just expressing what happened.

It's funny. But disgusting.

P.S. Nurli, I am not mad. Nor do I hate you.

Jugshatu 8/24/2008 02:59:00 PM

And the one on BUSY Sunday
Im getting ready to attend my religious class.

That is what I do every Sunday. (A routine)

Mum cooked jemput-jemput.

And she shared with us about Usain Bolt (Fastest Man alive)

So later the whole family will attend 2 kenduri-s (family gathering)

And I'm still not done with homework.

P.S. ARGGH.
I have not showered yet and I'm leaving at 10.30.
This sucks

Jugshatu 8/24/2008 09:58:00 AM

And the one about Waking up in the morning
I slept at 1.30 am yesterday.

Have not finished my homework.
Have not studied.
And I have to wake up at 6 am
6 seems to be a magic number since yesterday.
just typing that made me smile.
Ok.
I shall listen and appreciate now.

P.S. I made the magic 6 songs my alarm tone.
