is actually...
The meat is cooked together with the rice
for Nasi Briyani.
So if there is meat in the rice.. it's Nasi Briyani.
If it's just plain coloured rice.. it's Nasi Minyak.
That was the thoery given by my mum.
I don't know about the other yes voters' answers.
Oh well.
